Hi, my name is Mrs. Valerie Gilbert and I am thrilled to be teaching the most wonderful 3rd grade students in all of Ocean Springs, MS! I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education at the University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. Then I received my Master of Science in Instructional Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have been teaching for 6 years and love third graders!
My husband is the pastor at Glad Tidings Assembly, where we both enjoy time with our church family. We don't have children, yet, but love spending time with our two dogs, Memphis Belle and Indiana. They are brother and sister Australian Shepherd and Lab mixes and are full of energy.
My goal this year is to make teaching and learning exciting for my students!
